Below is a good reference for vocabulary and especially for finding synonyms and antonyms. Select the thesaurus from the drop down menu and then enter your word. Remember you may have to choose a different part of speech and then modify, especially for adverbs, but this one does have some adverbs so give it a try. (I do think that the Longman dictionary on my homepage is still easier than this one for definitions but this one has good synonmyns.)

We've been talking about idioms in English class, and noting the many that are used in Bridge to Terabithia. You can play a game with idioms by going to this fun brain site and trying to figure out the meaning of different idioms.

As you know, we are going to be spending a good deal of time on vocabulary and grammatical rules in grammar. This is a fun site to practice vocabulary and grammar (you can work on your Spanish vocabulary too!) all while donating food to the World Food Organization! Give Free Rice a try!
